WTF: What Tasty Fridays 11/18/10


I read tons of recipes every week and bookmark the ones I have to try. This week though I read plenty of good recipes, but didn't stumble on much I would make myself. Luckily, halfway through the week things picked up and I ended up nabbing a ton of things (mainly desserts, of course) that I can't wait to make. Here are all the recipes Megan and I bookmarked throughout the week.

Just Cook Already: Brown Sugar Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze - The picture speaks for itself.

Brown Eyed Baker: Salted Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies - Megan made a variation of these and they were GOOD! So good it called for a second batch.

Kimba's Kitchen: Balinese Lamb Chops with Fettuccine - It's definitely something I've never tried! I've never even cooked with lamb before.

Squirrel Bakes: Butterbeer Cupcakes - While I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, Butterbeer sounds sounds awesome. Megan and I are currently on a cupcake strike but if something is to break the strike, I hope it's this.

We Are Not Martha: Pomegranate-Ginger Pork Chops - Megan plans to make this with tofu!

$5 Dinners: Golden Raisin-Apple Stuffing Cups - Perfect for the holidays, these little cups are also adorable.

Annie's Eats: Spiced Apple Cream Cheese Danish Braid - This is not only a great recipe, but it has a fantastic picture-tutorial as well.

Annie's Eats: Spinach Artichoke Dip - Spinach Artichoke dip is a longtime favorite and I never thought to make it before.

Enchantingly Sweet: Pumpkin Doughnut Muffin - Pumpkin. Doughnut. Muffin. So much is right with this recipe.

Brown Eyed Baker: Green Bean Casserole - I absolutely love green bean casserole but my mom hates it. Even so, she makes it every year at Thanksgiving for me! (Thanks Mommy!) This looks like a version she might enjoy.

All of those look amazing (especially the pumpkin doughnut muffins). I do the same thing by creating sticky notes on my desktop with recipes I want to try from various blogs. :)
